A name born from the ocean and the cosmos

It takes its cue from the opening of Carl Sagan's Cosmos: A Personal Voyage — Sagan standing on the Monterey coast, the Pacific behind him, offering an invitation: “We are about to begin a journey through the Cosmos.”

CVOYA — where c evokes the sea and voya evokes the voyage. Two scales of exploration, one company. The mark is a crescent above a wave: the cosmos and the ocean, which are the same idea at different distances.

CVOYA builds AI technologies that enhance humans rather than replace them.

In practice it means the systems we build keep a person in the loop by design. Spring Voyage treats humans as first-class members of an agent team rather than as operators standing outside it. alwyse is built so that a useful tool sends you back to your life instead of further into a screen. Both are shaped by the same conviction, from opposite ends: one about how people and machines work together, one about how machine-based intelligence can be serve a user's needs.
